STATIC SEALING:

PTFE envelope Gaskets. Envelope gaskets make it possible to seal pipe connectors, in highly corrosive environments, PTFE envelopes do not stick to flanges and reduce the number of dismantling operations and shut downs owing to their long life. PTFE envelope gasket sizes range from 15mm NB - 1000mm NB.

Sizes from 15mm NB to 500mm NB are machined from PTFE billets. Beyond that they are manufactured from a shaped taped, joined by welding, and formed around asbestos or rubber fillers.

Either machined or cut gaskets are also available.

PTFE Backup and O Ring seals.

The life of elastomeric O-Rings can be greatly increased, and their use extended to high pressures by the introduction of PTFE back-up rings.
